Masjid Al-Wali

Masjid Al-Wali is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of New Jersey to engage exclusively in religious, educational and community activities in conformity with the Quran and the Sunnah (Traditions) of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
Masjid was founded in 2011. We are a growing community with a very diverse group, from all ethnic background. Although our backgrounds are very diverse, we hold true to the principle that we are all brothers and equal in the site of Allah (SWT). We each bring different strengths and collectively strive to fulfill the obligations of our deen according to the principles of the Quran and Sunnah.

Our History
December 12, 2011
Contract to purchase the property at 10 Olsen Ave, Edison, NJ 08820 was signed.
March 29, 2012
Closing Date – Documents signed and purchase completed.
August 5, 2012
Plans and Drawings submitted to Edison Township for approval to begin the construction phase.
April 5, 2013
Received construction permits.
May 17, 2013
Ground breaking ceremony took place. Several religious and political leaders attended the ceremony.
October 1, 2013
Construction started in full swing.
June 26, 2014
Masjid opened up just in time for Ramadan.
