The meal was so satisfactory and delicious. I can't wait to come back. This is a place I would bring my parents. The bread is crispy and fluffy at the same time.
The zucchini pancakes for an appetizer are a must. Insane flavor with a great yogurt sauce.
The clay pot kebab is absolutely insane. Great lamb with lots of mushrooms. I like dipping my bread in leftover greasy sauce.
We went for the kunefe for dessert. I never knew that could be like a dessert until now. So tasty. Crispy corn like flakes on top.
Many Turks inside so you know it's good.
This says it's $$ but it's quite expensive. Most entrees are $40. We were two people and we got all that for $40. They say tip is not expected.
We decided to have lunch here before seeing Lion King on Broadway and we were so happy! The place is adorable, the style so cute and the staff incredibly kind! Now let’s get to the important stuff. The food. I ordered the lamb shesh kabob, medium well, and it was cooked PERFECTLY! Like you aren’t chewing for years to get through the meat. It’s perfectly tender, and flavorful. My friend got the chicken shesh kabob and said it’s one of the best she’s ever had. The rice was buttery goodness. And fries had the perfect crispness. The Turkish bread was warm out the oven and mouthwatering. We didn’t get a chance to have dessert but will definitely be back next time we come to the city!
Sadly we forgot to take our picture before we started eating.
My recent visit to this cozy spot nestled in the heart of the city was delightful. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The service, especially from the two Hispanic waiters, was exceptional. We ordered the Grill Platter and some hummus, which were more than enough for both my wife and me, though we typically don't eat that much. The hummus was phenomenal, and we ended our meal with some delightful Turkish tea. It's also worth noting that the place is Zabiha Halal, according to the menu. Highly recommended!
This meal is insane. Easy 5 stars. Service 5.
Be sure to check in to get free Turkish tea.
