<p style="text-align: center"><strong>Our History</strong>
Al Huda Foundation represents the largest congregation of Muslims in the State of Indiana. It is located in the beautiful town of Fishers and serves the communities of Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, North Indianapolis and Geist. In 2002, the articles of incorporation, bylaws and Federal tax exempt status were filed and approved. The foundation started in a warehouse that was used as a prayer area and a weekend school (Alnoor School). In 2005, the community of Al Huda Foundation purchased the current 13 acre property on Lantern Road. One year later, a large expansion was added to the existing building to include a larger prayer area and more class rooms. In 2006, Eman Schools opened its doors and accepted the first batch of full-time students. The school now boasts 3 campuses and has expanded to accommodate more than 400 pre-K through 12 grade students.  In 2021 Al Huda Foundation completed construction of its new masjid (mosque) and community center.  An example of beautiful modern Islamic architecture, this building is home to elaborate prayer areas, a large state-of-the art gym, a commercial kitchen, and a sprawling gathering area.  The facility is adorned throughout with magnificent calligraphy, Islamic designs and Islamic art.</p>

<p style="text-align: center">The community has steadily grown and now includes families from all across the United States and from around the world. Cultural and ethnic diversity is one of the greatest strengths of this congregation. Fishers is a wonderful suburb on the northeast side of Indianapolis and is widely viewed as a welcoming, inclusive, diverse and safe place to live, work and raise a family. It is often ranked in the top ten places to live in the country. Our community is very active in interfaith activities and strives to build bridges between people of all faiths and backgrounds. A myriad of educational programs geared towards families, the youth, married couples and parents are delivered throughout the year.

<p style="text-align: center"><strong>Enhancing Academic Excellence with Islamic Values</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center">Eman Schools is a full time state-accredited school serving students from preK all the way through 12th grade. In addition to the curriculum set by the Indiana Department of Education, Eman Schools educates children in Islamic studies, Arabic and Quran and works to instill key Islamic values in our children such as honesty, integrity, humility, generosity and respect and compassion for our neighbors and all of God’s creation. Such values are embodied in the core teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)and serve as guiding principles for the School’s mission. Eman Schools is often cited as the main reason why families move to this area and the student population has exceeded 400 students at the three campuses. Eman Schools offers rigorous college preparatory courses and it’s graduates have been extremely successful in college placement and in securing impressive scholarships and ultimately, careers of their choice. <p style="text-align: center">Al Huda Foundation has always been a welcoming place for people of all backgrounds and faiths. Countless events over the years have been held to provide education, build bridges and sometimes dispel popularized misconceptions about our faith. Our congregation is active year-round in hosting visitors from all walks of life (academicians, school children, representatives of local faith-groups, state and local officials and people who are just curious!) Not only do we love when people visit us but we love to visit others and frequently accept invitations to other places of worship in town.
