How we rank
Places with more details first. The distance is a straight line from the place you choose to the pin we hold for each place. A place with no exact pin shows no distance and comes after the others.
Places with a phone, a website, hours or a rating on file come before places that are only a name and a pin. Those are drawn with a dashed edge, and a food place among them says "Halal status not checked".
A rating shows its source and its count. A rating built on fewer than 5 reviews is shown as a count only, and it never moves a place up.
The halal line says who said it and when. A certifier line means that body's own register names the place, read on the date shown. An owner line is the owner's word. A guess is said to be a guess.
Payment does not change this order. Ads are labelled, start below the third result, and never appear inside a list of masjids.
