The Golden Gate Park is a nice place to explore as it has the De Young Museum, California Science Academy, the Arboretum, the Botanical Garden, and the Japanese Tea Garden; to name a few places of interest within the location. There is also access to a free shuttle bus throughout the Park & you can see live bison roaming around freely in certain locations in the Park. Entrance into the Park itself is free, but you will need to pay for entry to certain locations such as the De Young Museum and California Science Academy (except if you have a Bank of America debit/credit card for the free De Young Museum weekends sponsored by the Bank or attend the sponsored free days for the California Science Academy that are held by Target or based on which postcode you live at). The Park has also hosted events such as free Hardly Strictly Bluegrass concerts, free dance lessons on the weekends in front of the De Young Museum and occasional comedy festivals too in the past (eg. The comic relief memorial for when Robin Williams died).
